BioMAP 7, Lisbon, Portugal, 2015
The BIOMAP 7 National Organizing Committee of C2TN - Centro de Ciências e Tecnologias Nucleares (Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa) organized, with the high patronage of his Excellency, the President of the Republic of Portugal, the 7th International Workshop on Biomonitoring of Atmospheric Pollution (BIOMAP 7). The event took place in the Pavilion of Knowledge - Ciência Viva (Lisbon) between 14th and 19th of June 2015.
This is the third time that BIOMAP was organized in Portugal. It was a pleasure and an honor for C2TN - Centro de Ciências e Tecnologias Nucleares (Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa) to host such an important meeting of researchers, policy makers and practitioners in environmental sciences from all over the world.

BioMAP 6, Cesme, Turkey, 2012
The 6th International Workshop on Biomonitoring of Atmospheric Pollution (BioMAP) was organized by the Department of Chemistry of the Middle East Technical University of Ankara, Turkey and took place at the famous vacation resort Cesme, Izmir, Turkey, between 15 - 19 October 2012.
The program was composed of key note speakers, oral and poster participants. The objective of the workshop
focused on qualitative and quantitative aspects of biomonitoring the deposition of atmospheric pollutants. Biomonitoring of air quality continues to be a key issue for achieving sustainable
development and health impact.
Topics of the workshop was given to atmospheric and terrestrial correlated pollution, combination of
source profiles and geographical information and advantages of nuclear and related analytical techniques.
